Garth and Heather Drummond have been married since 2006. They have one child River Drummond, and one on the way. The idea for this ecovillage came to Garth during a deep meditation, before he knew anything about the existence of ecovillages. If this ecovillage is a success the vision is to continue expanding it into many ecovillages over the whole great dyke.

They have secured some land on Hunyani Farm (the Drummond farm) overlooking Lake Manyame as the proposed location of the ecovillage.
