Meditation or a prayerful state of mind is letting go of anger and events from the past and all the planning for the future. Meditation is accepting this moment and living every moment totally with depth.  Just this understanding and a few days of continuous practice of meditation - can change the quality of your life.  The rest in meditation is deeper than the deepest sleep - because in meditation you transcend all thoughts/desires. This brings such coolness to the brain and it is like servicing or overhauling the whole body-mind complex.

In the eco village we encourage an alcohol, drug and smoke free lifestyle, also a reduced caffeine intake.  All these mind altering substances have a negative effect on the body and mind and prevent us from feeling naturally blissful.

How to achieve a calm state of mind

  • Aim to have a calm state of mind always

  • Repose in the cool, calm, serene depth of your Being.
  • Meditation is not deep concentration but de-concentration, letting go.
